The breakup of a marriage is a stressful time for a couple, especially when they have children. With over 30 years’ experience in family law, Joy B. Savren can assist clients in navigating the rough waters of divorce. This includes identifying special issues faced by same-sex couples in long-term relationships that only recently have been allowed to marry in Ohio or have their marriage recognized by the State of Ohio.

As a skilled advocate, Joy can negotiate the terms of the couple’s separation to meet the client’s individual and family needs. Joy is also a family law mediator and a trained collaborative divorce attorney. Joy serves the Domestic Relations Court as a Guardian Ad Litem, representing the best interests of children, and she has recently completed training as a Parenting Coordinator to assist high-conflict families.
